I’m a third-year occupational therapy student, raised in Kazakhstan and moved to the UK 16 years ago, where I now live with my husband, son and our springer spaniel. Last year I started the occupational therapy course after having worked as an occupational therapy assistant for 4 years. It fascinates me how occupational therapy uses everyday occupations to improve health and wellbeing.
When I’m not studying, I like spending time with my family and enjoy the outdoors either working in the garden, walking or swimming in the river. I’m very grateful to the HOS for hosting our placement and their warm welcome and generous support. HOS’s dedication to their clients, creative ways of working, professionalism and team cohesion has won my admiration.
