We celebrate our 25th anniversary next month. Over on our social media channels, we’re talking about 25 times we made a difference. We spoke to Sarah, our Resources Manager, to chat about one of the times she made a difference at HOS.
Sarah, what has been a memorable moment for you at Housing Options Scotland?
When I helped to develop a bespoke CRM System It’s called iHOS.
How does it help?
The CRM system, saves valuable time for our housing options brokers by helping them better manage their ever-increasing caseload. This gives them more time to spend with their clients and less time spent on admin. So, it really helps our team and then in turn, helps our clients too.
What did you do?
I worked with our developers, Tayfusion, and gave them all the information they needed to get started on creating the system. We had regular check-in meetings to ensure everything was on the right track, I collected and collated feedback from the team, tested the new system and trained our staff on the system.
What steps did you take to make it successful?
Ensuring the whole team were included in providing feedback on the progress of the system really made a big difference – it truly is a unique system that works for us, so it was important to ensure that it worked for everyone.
What do you think is going to be the benefit in the future?
iHOS will help us evolve and better manage everything from our client files to client surveys, case studies and our quarterly/annual reports. It will also ensure that everything is recorded properly, safely and in line with GDPR and Compliance Regulations.
